Friday Night at Elgin Drag Strip 10/28/2005. It was a Cold night and the Super Charger Loved it. Our First pass we decided not to film it and we made a big mistake, the Z-Car hooked so hard and lifted so high I thought it was going to flip over, Oh well Next time I will be filming. Here are a few movie clips from that night. Hope you enjoy them and out 60 ft. time were 1.34 on a stock R200 rear end and half shafts.
Having to adjust tire Pressure, car not going straight taken a hard digger, thought we broke a half shaft.
Third Pass, thought we broke a half shaft, but it turned out to be forgot to turn on water pump, radiator puked some and the driver rear tire lost traction.
Fourth Pass, was our fastest of the night. The car launched well with no problems.
Last Pass, well what can I say, ever seen a 240Z getting Air. Engine ran out of fuel or fuel slushed and ran into carbs causing it to loose power. I think it would of carried it through on the edge.
