350 4-bolt main block, Block was o-ringed and bored 30 over. Using main studs and head studs. Machine work was done by Jerry Boatwright and Henry Satterfield. Running a Callies crank, Eagle 5.7 rods, TRW blower pistons. Crank, rods and pistons balanced by Henry Satterfield. We had to use a decent crank along with rods. We knew it was going to have some horsepower put on it. We knew from all of our Nitrous motors it also needed to be O-ringed and have head studs. I am running a Roller cam as you can see below. I bought it from Mike Bozard, he used to have an 8-71 supercharger on top of a small block Chevy years ago installed in a Vega wagon call Rapid Transit. It has been a good cam for nitrous as well. It is a small cam, centerline is 110, duration is 255/270 lift is 572/574 with 1.5 rockers, I am running 1.6 ratio rockers so it gives me 610/612.. BDS 671 Blower kit, Built by Supercharger USA. I had a problem getting the Blower intake to bolt to my Aluminum Eldebrock Victor Jr heads. Had to find and purchase adapter plates from Dart. Then Had to custom fit them to my heads / intake. After all of that, had to use two different types of intake gaskets, one set for the heads then another type for the intake. They also had to be modified to fit correctly. Since I was using the adapter plates, I had to make spacers for the front and rear of the engine deck. This will help with the gap it was going to have. Had to really work with spacers for the blower pulley's. Since I was using a double grove pulley. Finally I was able to get it almost perfect. The kit went together well as a note: Be sure to work with a company that has a good understanding what you are trying to do. Supercharger USA was great, They worked with me over the phone on their dime. I made a mistake by not telling them what type of heads I was using.
