SEZ Shootout #7  September 10th 2006

Well before the event, we tested the ET Drag Radials. I was doing routine maintenance on the engine, did a compression check and found I was down on #8 and #5 cylinder. Pulled the engine and disassembled it. Found I had two burnt pistons. Both the aluminum heads were warped and I had a bent valve.

We had to rush to get it back together, only had a bout two weeks before SEZ#7. Replaced the bad pistons and had the heads repaired. Put back together and took it to the Dyno for tuning. Dyno tuning went well until the 4th pass, we lost 150 HP, Then it came back, thought blower was just getting hot.

Arrived at SEZ#7 and had a great time. We ran the car and it just did not perform as expected. Nothing we did improved it. So we still had a great time despite our car was not performing. Met old friends from the Hybridz.org site and saw some new faces and new cars.
