After SEZ#8 we hurt the Supercharger again. On the last pass we made Jerry hit the NOS and if ran Super lean and popped badly at the end of the run. We were entered in the Pinks All Out – Rockingham and did not have time to repair the Supercharger. We were down on boost, leaking gear oil in the inside again ( Blown Seal ). We ran Rockingham, had to continue putting gear oil in the Supercharger after every pass we made. After Pinks All Out – Rockingham, I torn down the Supercharger for repair and sent it off to RBS Superchargers. The rotor they repared with an oversized shaft and pinned before had messed up. Had to replace both rotors with a new matched set, then had to have them Hard Anodized and restriped with nylon and nylatron. Installed Supercharger back on engine to get ready for the show Pinks All Out – Bristol TN. Took the Z car to Midlands Drag way in Lugoff SC for testing. My brother’s friends Donnie and James Wiggins were there. James brought his Nissan 240SX with a SBC 355, Nitrous assisted with him. His 240SX was running strong. Below are the video clips of the runs. At least we had someone to run against. Normally no ones pulls up next to us and it is not as much fun as to actually race some one. As you can see the Nissan 240SX runs good. We were off out ET by 3 tenths, Normally we run the 1/8 in 5.8 / 5.9, but tonight we only ran a 6.2 / 6.3 also 60 foot was only a 1.41 normally is 1.32. Something still is wrong? 2nd pass, below is the video:
